OVERVIEW
Eco-Ideal assists Financial Institutes to establish and monitor their GHG emissions by reporting on their corporate GHG inventory.
CHALLENGE
Financial Institutes may lack the technical expertise and knowledge for calculating GHG emissions.
SOLUTION
To overcome the shortcomings faced by Financial Institutes, Eco-Ideal provides corporate GHG inventory services to assist in calculating, updating, and expanding on the various scopes of GHG emissions. Also, as part of the corporate GHG inventory service, Eco-Ideal conducts quality check on the data gathered for calculation to ensure it is the best available from the client.
OUTCOME
In the past few years, Eco-Ideal has successfully completed several corporate GHG inventories for various Financial Institutes within Malaysia. During this period, Eco-Ideal has assisted these Financial Institutes in calculating their baseline emissions as well as their yearly corporate GHG inventory. Eco-Ideal has also assisted in expanding the coverage of the GHG inventory to include Financial Institutes operations within the South-East Asian region, as well as expanding the scope of emissions to include scope 3 category 7: Employee Commuting emissions.
